Avalon Journal of Law is pleased to invite submissions for its first issue, scheduled for publication in September 2025. We welcome high-quality, original manuscripts from students, scholars, practitioners, and researchers across the legal discipline.
Theme:
This will be a general issue, open to all topics within the domain of law and allied legal studies.
📌 Categories & Word Limits
- Research Papers: 4,000–8,000 words
- Articles: 2,500–5,000 words
- Case Notes/Comments: 1,500–3,000 words
- Legislative Analyses: 2,000–3,500 words
- Book Reviews: 1,000–2,000 words
- Essays/Opinion Pieces: 2,000–4,000 words
All word limits are inclusive of footnotes. Submissions must follow the Bluebook 20th edition citation style.
Submission Deadline:
August 15, 2025

All manuscripts will undergo a single-blind peer review process.
